Is NoTi free?
Yes you can, however, the transaction cost is higher. An unregistered user can only withdraw funds from a registered NoTi agent.
Does NoTi integrate with Mpesa?
Yes, NoTi integrates seamlessly with M-Pesa and you can easily transfer funds into your NoTi wallet or to your M-Pesa account.
Can I transfer money to unregistered users?
No. You cannot only transact or make purchases at a registered merchant if you not a registered NoTi user
What is the lowest amount of money I can send on NoTi?
The limit on transfers of money is only applicable on the upper limit which is Kshs.150,000 per transaction. Consequently there is no lower limit.
What is the highest amount of money I can send from my NoTi wallet?
The highest amount you can send from NoTi wallet on a single transaction is Kshs.150,000/-. However you can send (or transact) up to Kshs.300,000/- in one day.
Can I withdraw at an ATM from my NoTi wallet?
This facility is only available to holders of the electronic driver’s license (e-DL) which is activated on NoTi. This is because to use the ATM an end-user requires a card. The e-DL card has the full functionality of an ATM card once activated and operates just like any other prepaid e-card.
Can I use NoTi App outside Kenya?
No, presently you cannot use NoTi App outside Kenya as the system is configured for local currency only. Multi-currency support is under development and will be available in the next system update.
Can I get NoTi on iPhone and other platforms?
Yes, you can get NoTi on iPhone and android. You will not need any special gadget to operate NoTi as the Super App has been configured to accommodate all existing mobile phone platforms.
How can I get my NoTi statements, how can I access them and how much does it cost?
You do not need to pay to get NoTi statements. Any kind of statement is requested from within the Super App and is available in a simplified dashboard format. Note that the following types of statements are generated automatically from NoTi:
(a) Periodic Statements
(b) Mini Statements (Your last ten transactions)
(c) Customized Statements
(d) You can view all transactions that hit your wallet under the wallet transactions menu.
For which periods can customers query their statements?
As a NoTi customer, you can query your statement for any period. However the automatic statements are the mini statements and periodic statements for three months, six months and twelve months.
How long does NoTi App take to send my statement?
Statements are sent to your email address immediately upon request. However for statements beyond one year one has to contact Customer Support Service desk.
What must I have before registering or downloading NoTi?
Note that NoTi Super App is available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Downloading is free.
(a) There are two ways of registration under the Customer Category (Individual end-user or subscriber):-
(i) Registration via the smart driver’s license (e-DL), for which you require an email address; a
valid e-DL ; and internet access either through a mobile phone, a tablet or ipad or a computer.
(ii) Registration via the National Identity Card or Passport, for which you require an email
address; the national ID or a valid Passport; and internet access either via a mobile phone,
ipad, tablet or computer.
(b) There are several ways of registration under the Merchant Category, to take care of the varied types of
businesses. Refer to the section marked “Merchant Registration Requirements” on our website.
How do I register on NoTi?
To register on NoTi, follow the steps below:-
1. Download NoTi from Google Play Store or iOS AppStore or visit www.noti.co.ke for the Web App.
2. Follow the step by step registration process provided by the system.
Must I have an email address to run NoTi?
Yes, you must have an email address to run NoTi. Your email address is part of the set of unique identifiers that makes your KYC (Know Your Customer) details tamper proof. Notifications from NoTi services are also channeled through your email address.
Why is a face photograph required when registering on NoTi?
A good facial photograph is part of mandatory security requirements that protects your account from illegal authorization and fraud. This is an additional biometric authentication feature apart from your unique PIN which enhances the security of your account. NoTi has implemented facial recognition facility that meets international standards for such functionality to ensure that your account is tamper proof.
Why do I have to put so much of my private details in NoTi?
The additional details required by NoTi for successful registration is for secure authentication and establishment of credibility of each system end-user. These are requirements for a blockchain based system and are additional benefits with Merchant outlets as presenting yourself as a NoTi user confirms that you have undergone a thorough verification process.
What assurance are you giving me that my personal details will not be manipulated when in NoTi?

Do I need to pay to register on NoTi?
No. Registration is FREE
How much can a non-registered user receive from NoTi?
Non-registered customers can only receive a maximum of 2 transactions every month. The monthly limit is Kshs. 15,000.
Do I need to register on NoTi to access NoTi services?
Yes, you need to register on NoTi to access NoTi services
How do I access the terms and conditions for NoTi?

How do I know if a transaction is successful?
You will receive a confirmation message after every transaction. You can also send a balance enquiry request.
How can I locate a NoTi Agent/Merchant?
All our registered NoTi agents and merchants countrywide are branded with NoTi signage.
You can also locate agents, merchants and branches nearest to you on the app and the website
What happens when I lose my phone?
You need to immediately call or get in touch with NoTi contact centre through our help lines or visit any NBK branch to report the loss.
What happens when I change my phone/phone number?
Call or get in touch with NoTi contact centre or visit any NBK branch to inform them of the change immediately
What do I do if I forget my PIN?
You can reset your PIN from your account Menu. Launch the NoTi app, select forgot PIN and follow the prompts to reset.
Commercial FAQs
How long does it take for a business to commence transactions after registration?
After registering on NoTi, your submitted business documents are channeled to our Operations team for review, validation and confirmation. If your business meets the requirements you will receive email confirmation within 24 hours.
As an individual end-user, after registration you will have immediate access to your account and you can transact up to Kshs 15,000 as you await validation of your registration by our Operations team.
Can I track my transactions on NoTi?
- You can view any transaction that goes through your wallet at any time.
- On the Mini Statement option, you can view the last 10 transactions on your account.
- Through the Periodic Statements option, you can view transactions for the previous 3months, 6 months and 12 months.
- On the Customized Statements option, you can specify the type of transaction and the period range you want to view.
- For recurring bills such as electricity, water and other utilities, you get an immediate view for any period specified.
What are the transaction value limits in NoTi?
The daily transaction limit is Ksh 300,000 on money that sits in the wallet. However, transactions that go through your bank account directly will be subject to the limits imposed by your bank(s).
Are there any hidden costs in NoTi?
No, there are no hidden costs in NoTi. The costs associated with using NoTi are clearly spelt out in the tariff that is available at all NoTi registered outlets and on the NoTi website.
Will NoTi replace my mobile bank app?
No, NoTi does not replace your mobile bank app. NoTi only gives you the convenience of holding all your financial assets in one secure environment so that you do not need to log in and out of your mobile bank app.
You can operate your bank account and bank cards (debit and credit cards) within NoTi. However you are free to use your mobile bank app as and when you need to do so.
Does NoTi integrate with Mpesa?
Yes, NoTi integrates with MPESA. You can transfer funds to and from MPESA through NoTi.
How is the safety of my bank account and credit cards assured in NoTi?
Your bank account and credit card details are safe and secure in NoTi and are tamper proof in two major ways:
1. Blockchain, the technology behind NoTi, is tamper proof due to the way records are maintained in its unique distributed ledger system. Hence the records are permanent and immutable.
2. The financial aspects of NoTi are hosted within a bank system and are subject to the rigor normally
exerted by banks on such records.
What assurance are you giving me that my business details are safe in NoTi?
Just as your bank accounts and card details are safe in NoTi, so are all other documents related to your business that are held or generated in NoTi. This is the major advantage of having a blockchain based e-money platform.
Additionally, your documents and business details are protected in line with the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy Pesa Print Limited has committed to. You can read more about our Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy on our website.
Will App updates affect my business details and transactions?
We expect a number of updates on NoTi as we incorporate more features and refine others. However these
updates will not affect your business or transaction records.
Where additions are required in documentation or any other aspect, the system will inform you appropriately and in a timely manner.
What is the advantage of using the Web App over the Mobile App or vice versa?
From an individual end user point of view, the Mobile App is more appropriate because there are accompanying conveniences such as the more efficient scan QR functionality to consummate transactions, which can be done on the Mobile App. However QR generation can be done on the Web App as well. On the other hand, the biggest advantage of the Web App is that it works very well for corporates as the Web App is accessible through devices of larger screen sizes, which gives you better viewing functionality.
Worthy of note is that the functionalities are similar whether one uses a Mobile or a Web App.
Does NoTi have Loyalty Points facility?
NoTi has a very versatile loyalty scheme. Except for funds withdrawal at an Agent/Merchant outlet, all transactions on NoTi will earn you loyalty points which are redeemable in line with redemption rules spelt in the system and on our website from time to time.
With all the digital payment apps in the market why has NoTi been introduced?
NoTi has been designed with the needs of today’s dynamic, on-the-go smartphone user in mind. As the world increasingly goes cashless, smartphone users are looking for solutions that can give them the convenience of getting as many services as possible in a one stop secure environment. NoTi is the first
and only solution in the market that enables end users to digitize all their financial assets for ease of use when required and in this way making it unnecessary to carry a physical wallet. This includes debit and credit cards and physical cash. Added to this, drivers holding the new generation electronic driver’s license will be enabled to activate them within NoTi, giving them the capability to use it as a pre-paid e-card.
